Purpose and access

Jose Lisboa Estate Archive is a personal desktop application. When its owner authorizes it through Google, it uses the Gmail read-only permission to identify messages bearing the “Jose F Lisboa Estate” label, inspect message details to organize attachments, and download those attachments. It does not send, edit, or delete Gmail messages.

Use and storage

The app saves attachment files in folders in the owner’s Documents directory on the Mac. It examines attachment contents to detect exact duplicates. The OAuth client file is stored in the Mac’s application support folder; the refresh token is stored in macOS Keychain. Archive files are stored on the Mac until the owner removes them. The app has no developer-operated server or cloud database, and does not transmit Gmail content or attachments to the developer or sell them to third parties. Files may be included in the owner’s own device backups or sync services according to the owner’s settings.

Google API data

Information received from Google APIs is used only to provide this attachment-archiving function. The app does not use Google user data for advertising. Its use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Control and deletion

The owner can revoke the app’s Google access in Google Account connections. Revocation stops future access; it does not automatically erase files already saved on the Mac. The owner can delete those local files and the application’s locally stored credentials and Keychain token. This website contains no account sign-up or contact form.
